He is known for his advocacy work with regard to the Wasatch Mountains and in attempting to clean up the air

Wildlands Network founded the concept and bold vision for continental-scale conservation. They believe habitat connectivity is crucial to restoring biodiversity and creating resilience to climate change. Their landscape-level conversation leadership provides a clear path to achieving the national goal to protect 30% of lands and waters by 2030 and 50% by 2050. Through on-the-ground research, habitat restoration, collaborative partnerships, and advocacy for government action, they effectively protect and restore wildlife habitat and wildlife across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
