Experience in the field of custom framing is preferred, but not necessary. We are willing to train the right person if they show exceptional potential.
Candidates should have the following qualities:
Passion for art, design or decor.
Great listening and communication skills.
Basic understanding of various art mediums, custom framing types and color theory.
Basic computer skills.
Very strong attention to detail and extremely organized.
Fantastic customer service and sales experience.
Good with fractions and measurements.
Enjoys working with a team, as well as working with customers.
An outgoing personality who is excited to engage customers.
Problem solver, self-driven, hard worker and fast learner.
Ability to work with tools and framing machinery.
Willingness to wear a mask, wash hands and look out for the safety of co-workers and customers alike.
Job Responsibilities:
Keeping the store organized, stocked, clean and well displayed.
Working with customers to help them find the right gifts and home decor.
Creatively collaborating with customers to help them find the best custom framing solution for their piece.
Ordering the necessary framing supplies needed for each individual project and communicating expected project completion dates with customers.
Ensuring the completion of projects in a timely and detailed manner.
Participation in special events such as gallery strolls, private events and charity events (post-COVID).
